Exercising with an abdominal wheel is a classic abdominal exercise that provides an intense burning workout for the abdominal muscles. They can also be called training wheels, AB rollers or AB wheels.
What is an ab wheel?
It’s a simple exercise tool that can be used at home, at the gym or even taken on a trip as it’s small and handy. It consists of a bar and one or two wheels in the middle. The bar becomes like a handle at each end that you hold.
How to use an exercise wheel?
It is relatively easy to use these exercise wheels for abdominal training. Get on your knees and grip the wheel with both hands. Then roll the wheel forward until your arms are fully extended and your stomach is almost touching the ground. Then roll back to the starting position. If you want extra strain and more challenge, you can stand on your toes as you roll out the wheel. It is important to maintain good form throughout the movement, so you should not arch your back.
