Thunder Fitness is one of the few fitness brands in the world that sells weighted vests specifically designed for women.

Finding a weighted vest in a women’s size can be quite difficult, so we’re very happy to offer this option for the Swedish and Nordic markets!

Weighted vest in women’s size

Many companies that sell weighted vests only offer one model, which is “one size fits all.” As most people know, this isn’t true, as our bodies come in very different shapes and sizes.

Women are generally shorter and have narrower shoulders compared to men. Because of this, many “standard models” fit poorly on women and girls.

We’ve heard from many customers about the challenges they’ve faced when trying to find a weighted vest that fits their body properly. They’ve been very pleased when they found us and our smaller vest models that fit women well.

Our sizes for women

We offer weighted vests in 5, 10, 20, and 30 kg. The 5 kg version is very small in its base design and comes in only one size. It fits both women and men equally well.

For our 10 and 20 kg models, there are two variants: “Normal” and “Small,” where “Small” can essentially be considered a women’s size. Of course, men can also wear it, and likewise, women can wear the larger vests. The only difference is the size — the design and all other features are completely identical. The determining factor for which vest you should choose is your height, not your gender.

The size recommendations for our 10 and 20 kg models are:

• Over 178 cm → choose 10/20 kg Normal
• Under 178 cm → choose 10/20 kg Small

The Small version is also narrower across the shoulders.

Our 30 kg model is also suitable for women. It’s called 30 kg Normal, and it fits best on individuals around 170 cm or taller.
